Does the weight of the door matter when using sliding wardrobe door kits?
Yes - our sliding wardrobe door kits are built with the weight of the doors you'll be using in mind. This is because the materials are crafted to withstand different weights, so always double-check the weight of your doors before you begin.
For example, our ProSlide 18 Wardrobe Track Kit is able to handle doors of up to 50kg in weight, whereas our Ultra Bypass Double Track Sliding Wardrobe Door Kits are able to withstand door weights of up to 100kg.
Using doors that are heavier than the designated weights may result in the tracks struggling or failing entirely.
